What does this device do?

Tests two published equations for burst frequency. Based on a model presented in one publication (Thio et al, 2013), the burst frequency for the two valves should occur at 176 RPMs and 400 RPMs respective from the center of rotation. The model outlined in the second publication (Zeng et al, 2000) estimates the burst frequencies at 631RPMs and 1533 RPMs respective from the center of rotation. Both models incorporate hydrophilicity, fluid density, surface energy and geometric elements.
