What does this device do?
10 to 200 µm sized slots and steps to characterize a printer’s XY resolution. Number of steps per square are as many as can fit in a 4x4 mm square (twenty with 200 µm spacing, four-hundred with 10 µm spacing). With the use of an optical microscope and ImageJ the XY resolution of your printer can be determined. This is not recommended for FDM unless the print is scaled 2X+.
